Xoriguer Gin comes to us from necessity, when 18th century British soldiers stationed on the Spanish island of Menorca found themselves craving gin, but coming up short with the necessary ingredients.
So they turned to the locals, who were able to distil gin from wine alcohol using traditional copper stills, and thus Xoriguer was born. A short stint in oak barrels just before bottling adds an extra measure of smoothness, giving this gin a unique, aromatic edge.
